My Ombre Hair

Oh natural & no sea salt (for once ;) ) In natural day light

With a huge lot of sea salt and hair spray & a slight filter.

Bit blurry as it was taken on my iPhone but......Rabbit dress is from H&M....Hair......well that's my own ;). Jumper is from Urban Outfitters Here

I recently got my hair done by the wonderful Tom Badger who is honestly the best hairdresser and ombre god on the planet. I have super long hair to be exact 32 inches of it according to Tom........ and I felt like I wanted a change with my super long and natural hair so I thought about doing a bit of ombre to the ends and then just decide one day whilst on a lunch break from work to make a phone call to Tom and roll with it! I've never really done anything with my hair until now as in coloured or dyed it because I wasn't sure if it would suit me or not.....but I'm loving the "Ombre & Balayge Sunkissed blonde ends" life so much so that I just had to share Toms amazing work and I feel like I can do so many more different hair styles from my basic sea salt beachy waves style to the curling my barnet like it's going out of fashion now. Having such long hair can be a pain but Tom has giving my hair a new lease of life & has done a rather splendid job. Tom went for a natural sun kissed look on the ends of my hair as my hair is naturally blonde and has left it feeling amazing, it doesn't feel dry damaged, or killed which is the main thing. Infact I'd go as far as to say I wish I'd got my hair ombre'd sooner and Tom really knew what he was doing to the ends of my hair.

I'm SUPER happy with my new ombre ends, & I will be sharing some of the haircare products I'm using to maintain the blondness of the ombre very soon but for now enjoy the curly haired & ombre vibes.

I wish my hair was this curly everyday.......Huge thanks to Tom for doing such a fabulous job.

Hey Hey Mr Postman | Zoeva

When it comes to makeup brushes I'm very much a drugstore brush loving kinda girl, and I still am but after hearing and reading so many wonderful things about Zoeva and how fantastic and instagram worthy they are I decided to cave in and bought a set, I decided to opt for a classic Rose Gold Luxury Set Vol. 1..........and boy did I get excited when I saw the postman with this lil parcel on a fine Monday morning......I've used these beauties pretty much everyday for the past month or so & they do not disappoint.

They are the softest brushes I've ever used to apply my makeup they blend everything so effortlessly and do all the work for me. I wasn't sure if they would be worth the hype but they really are! I think the quality of these brushes is truly amazing and completely worth the money, there's not a single brush in this volume that I haven't used on a daily bases, they also wash up incredibly well and after they've been washed, air dried and squeaky clean they feel exactly as they did when I first got my hands on them. One of my favourite things apart from the brushes of course is the beautiful clutch style makeup bag, this again as been something I've found I can pop all my everyday makeup items in and carry around with me should I ever need a quick makeup refresh.

My favourite brushes that have now become staples in my brush collection are the:

Silk Finish Brush - Blends foundation like an utter dream
Luxe Sheer Cheek - Perfect for applying my favourite blushers to the apples of my lil cheeks
Concealer Buffer - I love this one for patting in my concealer underneath my eyes and on blemishes
Luxe Petite Crease - I use this one a lot for blending in eyeshadows into the crease of my eye
Wing Liner - I don't actually use this for eyeliner I use this brush to fill in my eyebrows using my brow powder from Urban Decay.

My Current Go-To Lippy

Whenever I see Charlotte Tilbury launch new products I'm straight onto her website and planning what makeup look I can do with a new product.....As it's valentines Charlotte decided to release a very very beautiful and Limited Edition called "Valentine". Charlotte just released two new lippy's one being Pillow Talk to match the cult beauty favourite pillow talk lipliner and the Valentines one.

I was more drawn to the Valentine lipstick as it's this gorgeous soft & pretty rosey, petal pink shade and is just beautiful. Charlotte's K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks have the most incredible and dreamy formula, the pigmentation is fanastic and the colour lasts all day. I've not once found myself needing to constantly top it up, I also really love how it's hydrating and doesn't feel like one of them super tight and incredibly drying lipsticks, It glides on but lasts all day. I worn this everyday since the end of January and I'm just obsessed with it. It's honestly the perfect shade for any skintone & makeup look. Has a slight glossy sheen but it's beautiful and has now become one of my everyday go-to nude lipsticks.

It is limited edition so if you can I highly suggest you grab it whilst it's still available honestly you will not regret it.

If it sells out and you still are after a very very similar shade Kim K.W is a little more on the peachy side and looks just as lovely.

January Favourites | 2017

Howdy.......Another month means another month of various products that I have used and they now have become favourite items of mine, this month my favourites are slightly mixed but are mostly beauty related.

The first thing I've been really loving using for a few months now actually....I purchased this around about November time as I kept walking past it in Superdrug is Colab Dry Shampoo by the ever so gorgeous Ruth Crilly. Now this has been raved about by plenty of people and bloggers for a while now and I just thought sod it I'd give it a whirl.....I love the smell, it doesn't leave any form of white streaks through my hair and has actually replaced my beloved Batiste. I love batiste but this is one product that has pipped them to the post. I will most definitely be checking out the other fragrances from Colab.

Setting products have been a huge pain for me for a while now but ever since Sam from Made & Co introduced me to the RCMA no colour powder I fell completely in love with it. It sets my concealer beautifully and doesn't leave it looking cakey or chalky like some setting powders do, I've used this everyday for the past couple of months now and it's brilliant I have done a more in depth review here if you wish to have a read.

Real Techniques as a brand are one of my favourites, their brushes are faultless and always blend my makeup beautifully, but a new edition to my makeup is their Miracle Complextion Sponge now they have been around for a while and I'm most definitely late to jumping on this band wagon but its a new edition which I didn't think I was going to love but actually do. I have found that using this lil sponge for foundation & concealer so much more quicker and it gives a really flawless finish, they are just SO good everyone should have one of these, I've been alternating between this lil sponge and my trusty Zoeva Silk Finish brush for my foundation and concealer, if you don't have a beauty blender or beauty sponge or whatever you wanna call them I'd highly suggest you invest in one.

Another product that I've been reaching for everyday is my Illamasqua Pigment in Hollow, It's the perfect contour colour for my very fair skin, It doesn't leave a muddy & heavy look to my skintone and blends in perfectly it just adds the right amount of dimension to my face without looking overdone too.

Dark circles are something that I'm no stranger too so I purchased about a month ago the NYX Dark Circle Corrector and it's awesome, I just pat a tiny amount of this corrector under my eyes and then apply my concealer on top & my hideous dark circles have vamoosed. It's up there with my favourite Benefit Erase Paste!

If there is one makeup brand that I'm forever reaching for or talking about it's got to be Charlotte Tilbury, I've just become obsessed with her amazing makeup & skincare products over time and two products I've been reaching for a lot and have used pretty much on a day to day basis are the Full Fat Lashes Mascara & a Colour Chameleon in Champagne Diamonds, This mascara is incredible it does everything it promises and more. I love how it's jet black and every time I've used this someone's commented on my eyelashes and has asked me what am I wearing, I've also been using the Champagne Diamond Colour Chameleon. It's basically an eyeshadow crayon it's just a beautiful light rosey coppery shade with a beautiful amount of shimmer, and really makes my blue eyes pop, super pigmented and again it's another product that everyone I know keeps asking me about. I love how as it's shimmery it's not OTT and doesn't look like I've got to disco balls for a 90s school disco on my eyelids, its subtle yet beautiful.

Sticking with eyeshadows the final thing I've been using on a daily basis is the Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow palette, now this palette is amazing as you can create every kind of look from a day to day basis to a simply smoky it's ideal. I especially have done a bit of damaged to Silk Teddy & Push Up both of which are two pretty pinky rosey shades.

And that is everything I've been loving throughout January, most of these I'm sure I will be taking into February with me.

What have you been loving in January?
