Oops I Did It Again.....

.....I bought more makeup, this time I'm blaming this haul on the people who gave me some moolah for christmas and also payday hahaha. I decided to pay my local Bobbi Brown Counter a visit as I'm a huge fan of Bobbi Brown makeup and love her brand in general. I decided to purchase three things as I wanted 1. a new bronzer, a lipstick (as I'm a huge lipstick/lipbalm junkie incase you didn't already know) and basically a highlighting blush/highlight. All of which I'm SUPER happy with so let's get onto the haul.

I purchased the Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden Light - Now this bronzer they have as part of the normal collection, but because they launched it in a beautiful red swirl packaging for Christmas I managed to get something that should normally cost me £28.50 for only £21.60 just because it's in a beautiful red packaging #BARGAIN! Now I'm very pale so I'm one of them people that like to stick to what I know and love, but this really did catch my eye as I swatched it and it didn't look muddy or orangey, then the lovely Nina (from the Bobbi Brown counter in my local House Of Fraser) tried this bronzer on me to show what it would look like.....I instantly loved it as it just added the right amount of warmth to my face without looking like I've just had a fight with my bronzer. Nina herself was wearing this particular bronzer and she's quite fair like myself and she said it would be perfect for my pale skin. So after swatching & trying I decided it was now time to do some buying. It's super pigmented and leaves the perfect amount of warmth to my pale complexion without ever looking over the top. It's honestly become one of my new all time favourite bronzers, it's just so beautiful.

Next up I purchased a lip tint in the shade Bare Pink. Now this for me lasts a fair amount of time but I do have to continue to re-apply it throughout the day, it's light but leaves that my lips but better look and is subtle yet effective. It's perfect if you want to just focus more on your eyes rather than on your lips, it's even the perfect lip tint for them makeup free days. I just honestly loved this it was too pretty not to want to buy. All be it, it cost me £20 which is very expensive for something that's quite like a lip balm, it's one product that I know I will use practically everyday.

Shimmer Brick Compact, now if you don't own one of these beauties what even are you doing with your life? This little lightweight and handy shimmering compact is one of Bobbi's best sellers & it's no wonder......just look how beautiful! Everything from the push button packaging to the actually product itself it's effortless, I purchased the Rose one because I already have two other shimmer brick compacts and have had my eye on this one for quite some time, I didn't really need another one but it was too pretty and was screaming "BUY MEEEEE!!!" at me so I just had to.

Now let's not add up that ridiculous amount let's just appreciate how beautiful Bobbi's products are. I'm very very excited to get to use these more, that and I love purchasing new makeup!

What's your favourite Bobbi Brown product?

Too Faced "Natural Eyes" Eyeshadow Palette

From left - Heaven, Silk Teddy, Nudie, Cashmere Bunny, Push-Up, Honey Pot, Sexspresso, Erotica & Chocolate Martini

On one of my very many recent trips to Debenhams I caved in and decided to FINALLY purchase the famous Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette as I've been eyeing (see what I did there haha) this hugely raved about palette for ages.....debating wether to get it or not.

And BOY am I glad I did......I took these pretty brand new shot photos before I used it so you could have something beautiful to look it, but honestly this palette is an utter dream! I picked this up finally because I'd seen so many people rave about it & every time I went to Debenhams I'd always have a glance at the Too Faced counter as I'm one a huge fan of their Better Than Sex Mascara and always end up picking a tube up & two, to go swatch crazy. I've never been one to pull off bright & intense colours on my eyes & much prefer neutral eyeshadows & I knew instantly that this was the palette for me it's just right up my street. After many a swatch and oohing & aahhhing I knew I instantly NEEDED it in my life. It's honestly beautiful & it was pretty much love at first sight (or swatch I should say)

The whole palette itself is extremely beautiful and is the dream palette for an effortless look, the colour range on this palette is incredible too, I particularly love Silk Teddy, Push-Up & Honey Pot which are all very pretty shimmery shades. There are 4 matte shades & 5 shimmer shades which I'd wear a lot. Everything about this palette is literally impeccable the shimmer shades are SO easy to blend & are very creamy, yet the matte shades just give this overall palette and any look that you want, the perfect ounce of a soft velvety focus. Every shade compliments each other, they all apply so easily and you can literally apply, smudge, blend & bang they will last all day & looks flawless. The pigmentation of Too Faced eyeshadows is absolutely uh-ma-zing, like I said they stay put all day until you take the day's face away. It's honestly such a nifty lil palette.

Heaven is perfect for the inner corner of the eye and as a brow highlight, Cashmere Bunny is perfect in the crease......literally everything about this palette is perfection.

This is one palette that for me ticks every box, you can create SO many looks and it's the perfect palette for all year round, there is not a shade in this palette that I don't like or won't use, I think it's such a gorgeous palette that everyone should own it's honestly up there with some of my favourites. At £32 for 9 eyeshadows I can understand that some people might deem it to be on the expensive side of things but for me I flipping love it, the packaging is adorable, the colours are beautiful & all in all Too Faced absolutely know how to create the perfect palette, everything about the Natural Eyes Palette is perfect it really is a must have in my opinion. Since purchasing it I've just not put it down because it's that good and I absolutely LOVE it & I've been using it pretty much every day.

Do you have this Palette? IF NOT YOU NEEEEEEEDDD IT trust me.

The Best Cleansers On The Market

Putting on makeup is a lot of fun and having the freedom to create whatever kind of look you want is amazing too but one thing that I look forward more than anything is removing the days face, getting rid of any trace of makeup and then letting my skin have a little refresh with moisturisers, serums & all sorts. I wanted to share with you two cleansers that I've been loving and in my opinion are the best on the market. I've of course picked one that's highstreet friendly and budget friendly & one that's more for you if you've got a bit extra moolah to spend. Both of which do a fantastic job however are both very different in their very own unique way.

9 To 5 is one UH-MA-ZING budget friendly and affordable cleanser on the highstreet, packed with Ylang Ylang Oil & Fresh Dove Orchid it leaves my skin feeling super soft and nourished whilst also gliding the days face off just nicely. I LOVE this cleanser it's a liquid lotion so It's very easy to just pore a little out and then massage straight onto dry skin, it smells lovely & literally makes my skin feel super clean and refreshed, I like to double cleanse so I use this once and then again one cleanse removes my makeup and the other leaves it feeling super clean and that way I know everything's off. Honestly if you are after a really good cleanser that's under £10 this is for's cheap, friendly and does the job. I'm not a fan of Lush's Ultrabland cream (more a balm if you ask me) cleanser as I just find it way too heavy, 9 to 5 is perfect if you want something light yet super effective.

Moving onto slightly more pricey.....

I've also been thoroughly enjoying the Clinique Take The Day Away Cleansing Balm, I like both liquid and balm cleansing lotions and this ticks every box, it glides my makeup off like an absolute dream yet leaves it feeling squeaky clean, I would compare this to the famous Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm which every blogger I've ever known has raved about. The Clinique Balm is very soft and gentle to the skin, simply add droplets of water and it will turn to a foam like soap paste, I literally massage this all over my face it's honestly SO good it even removes waterproof mascara, I just grab a hot cloth and it all pulls right away from my face. Even though this is slightly more pricey it is really worth it, and come on who doesn't love a bit of Clinique once in a while.

Both of these are really good and I love alternating between the two of them, 9-5 is affordable and perfect for anyone on a bank friendly budget. Clinque's cleanser is still lovely even though it's slightly more expensive.

What's your favourite cleanser?

My November Favourites | 2016

If there is one thing I love it's a monthly favourites post, so today I wanted to share with you the things I loved throughout November. So buckle up your seat belts for lots of beauty, makeup & of course random favourites.

The first thing I loved using in November is the Lush Plum Rain Shower Gel. Plum Rain is a Lush Oxford Street Exclusive product & oooohhh my goodness it smells SO good! I've become obsessed with this shower gel so much so that I used it practically every day throughout November, it's a like a blackcurrant meets plum sweet scent, it's honestly gorgeous, it's packed with Fresh Plum Juice & Sicilian Mandarin Oil along with Umeboshi Infusion. My momma very kindly picked this shower gel up for me when she visited London a couple of weeks back & I've just become obsessed with it. If you can get your hands on this shower gel then I'm very jealous of you hahaha.

One product that I've been impressed with throughout November was the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent. I was recommended this by my friend Megan (hey meg if you're reading this) who said how amazing it was and that I'd love it, so with this in mind I purchased it to give it a whirl and it's honestly fantastic, it lasts all day and my concealer lasts twice as long when I use this, it's long lasting and doesn't leave an orangey tone on my pale peach skin, I really love how a little bit of this product goes such a long way. If you after a new setting powder that's budget friendly I'd recommend this one, seriously check it out.

Random thing alert....I was casual walking through homesense (as per usual) and came across this adorable little ceramic dish that had a copper/rose gold hedgehog on the top & it's just the cutest. I thought I'd include it in my November favourites as I practically used this everyday in november as I keep all my hair bobbles and bobby pins inside it. LOOK HOW CUUUTTEEEEE!!!! It's part of the Autumn/Winter homeware accessories collection Homesense do. This little beauty only cost me £5 as well #bargain.

Kiehl's is one brand that I always turn to whether it be for an eye cream or a skincare staple. In November I purchased the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream & completely fell in love with it, I've done a proper in depth review of it here so I won't ramble but it's hydrating, moisturising & my makeup looks so much better when I use this, it's honestly such a good base for any makeup look, gives all day hydration & again it's one product that I just can't stop using because it's that good.

What's a favourites post without a candle? I've become obsessed with one particular brand called Partylight who create the most beautiful candles at extremely good prices, one I've fallen head over heels in love with is their Spiced Pumpkin Candle which was one of their autumn seasonal this honestly smells like sweet pumpkin pie/ autumn & gingerbread. It has three wicks and burns really nicely. It's honestly one of my new favourite candles! & you guys know how much I love a good candle. It's got the most prettiest packaging too.

The final thing I loved using in November is my Mini Charlotte Tilbury Brushes. I bought this little kit a couple of weeks back and I've just taken it with me everywhere I go, the brushes are such good quality too, really fluffy and my makeup goes on like a dream when I use these, they come in a perfect case that I then slot nicely somewhere in my handbag, this little set is honestly perfect for little makeup touch ups throughout the day. If you are after some new makeup brushes for Christmas or are looking for something travel friendly yet extremely good quality I'd suggest you look no further than these bad boys. Although pricey they are completely gorgeous and perfect for on the go makeup.

And that is everything that I've loved throughout November.

What did you love in November?

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream | Review

We are all well and truly into the glorious month that is December, so with this in mind and the weather getting colder, the evenings getting darker and the whole world beginning to be more christmasy I felt like it was time to give a new moisturiser a try and swap my trusty Clinique Moisture Surge for a lil something different....I decided I'd stick with one of my many favourite brands and let you all know how I got on....SO I bought the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream around about 2 weeks ago now and wanted to give myself enough time in using it for me to then do a 'proper' review. I LOVE Kiehl's both as a brand and of course their products, one of my all time favourites is the creamy avocado eye treatment it's honestly the best!

The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream is quite a cheapish moisturiser with Kiehl's being classed as a highend brand at £24 a pop it's £10 cheaper than my trusty Clinique Moisture Surge, however it's slightly more difficult for me to get hold of as I sadly don't have a Kiehl's Counter in any shops near where I live, but I had no fear as thank god for the wonderful website that is John Lewis......I haven't really seen anyone talk about this particular moisturiser or rave about it so I was a lil bit apprehensive as to try it but if I don't try then I will never know, and neither will you guys.

It has no fragrance which I was quite pleased about as most moisturisers that have a fragrance or are scented tend to give my skin a horrible reaction and irritate it, this one hasn't irritated my skin in the slightest and has really boosted the hydration in my skin, it claims to continuously replenish skin and says that it will leave your skin feeling smooth, soft & hydrated......All the things I could ever want from a moisturiser, even more so in the winter. Now I'm more than happy to say this moisturiser is most definitely as good as my trusty Clinique if not (and I can't quite believe I'm typing this.....) BETTER!! I use this both first thing in the morning & last thing at night, and boy oh BOY does it make my makeup go on like a dream, If I were to compare this moisturiser to another highend one I would probably say the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream would fit the bill. It's quite a thickish gel-meets-cream cream. I love how a little goes a long way and that it sinks in nicely, like I said my makeup glides on and it just sits wonderfully on top, it's moisturising, incredibly hydrating and just what the doctor ordered for winter. It takes a bit longer to sink into my skin than my clinique moisture surge but just leaves skin with this really hydrated and natural dewey glow. It's honestly UH-MA-ZING & I really can't recommend this moisturiser highly enough. Even in two weeks alone I can already feel and see the difference in my skin, this wonderfully hydrating cream contains Squalane & water retaining Imperata Cylindrica to protect the skin through harsh weather conditions, I.E. it's the best moisturiser to use in the winter and leaves your skin feeling hydrated 24/7. A little goes such a long way!

It's not greasy, heavy or leaves you feeling like you've got slime all over your face, it's honestly beautiful. I personally wouldn't say it's light as it does have the same consistency as Charlotte Tilburys Magic Cream. I can't understand why this has not been raved about by other beauty bloggers it's one heck of an incredible moisturiser. Creamy, hydrating & nourishes skin, what more could you want from a moisturiser?

If you try one new moisturiser this winter make sure it's this one!

A Touch Of Clinique

If there is one brand that I turn to for good UH-MA-ZING skincare & all things beauty related it's Clinique.....So whilst on a monthly trip to stock up on my beloved skincare products I stumbled across their very new and truly fantastic free gift. You know how lots of different beauty brands do a buy such & such & get a whole bag of goodies for free? Well......Clinique have just gone and done that & boy oh boy it's one that you wouldn't want to miss out on.

At selected House Of Fraser stores if you purchase 2 or more Clinique products (one being skincare or the other being foundation I believe) you get a whole bag loaded with goodies and as you can see it really is a fantastic deal. So I picked up my usual moisturiser and the lady at the Clinique counter very kindly gave me the beauty goodie bag.....which was very very kind of her as you were meant to buy two products or more....I only wanted to purchase one today though. Just when I thought the goodie bag couldn't get any better she popped in a brand new moisturiser Clinique have made and I'm beyond excited to try it.

Now enough rambling let's get to the contents of the goodie bag........

My goodie bag was packed with -

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
Clinique Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturiser *lil extra Annabel threw in for me*
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Cream
Clinique High Impact Mascara
Clinique Eyeshadow Duo
Clinique (what I'm calling a 'Taylor Swift Red') Cherry Red Lipstick
A Lil Fragrance

Now I love the mini eyeshadow duo as it's perfect for on the go makeup and is something I'd more than likely grab on a daily basis, very pigmented and both beautiful, The Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is actually one of my all time favourite cleansers as it's SO softening and milky once mixed with water it just creates this silky, soft, hydrating balm that you simply glide all over your face and then bang it glides the days face away like an utter dream.....If you've never tried the Take The Day Off Balm I'd very highly recommend it, it's honestly wonderful. I'm always up for trying a new moisturiser so it will be nice to alternate between the brand new and highly anticipated Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturiser which claims to give skin all day hydration, whilst giving skin a healthy glow & the Dramatically Different Moisturiser which claims to keep skin younger, longer?!?!?! now that's one heck of a promise.....The Liquid Facial Soap Mild is actually something I've not tried from Clinique but it comes in three different types one for each individual skin type.....I got the Mild, now this is facial wash that 'cleanses without stripping protective lipids' I'm actually quite excited to try this one as I do love a good cleansing wash/soap. The High Impact Mascara is one of the best mascaras EVER, it adds va va voom to my lashes and really makes them pop, lasts all day (no slipping down the face after a long old day at work), no clumps and just is an all round UH-MA-ZING Mascara it's under £20 and is honestly fab. Clinique Lipsticks are something I've never ventured into purchasing or giving a whirl.....but when I saw the colour of this one I almost cried with joy as it's SO beautiful & such a gorgeous shade, after only swatching on the back of my hand I can already tell that it has a very moisturising glides on like silk.....pigmentation isn't too bad either, I love how it's a very festive red.

And That is everything in my goodie bag, all in all I think this a truly fantastic deal that you really don't want to miss out on....all these samples are in travel size so perfect if you're going away or just want to 'try before you buy' all in all I bloomin' love Clinique and don't think I could ever not purchase something from them as a brand, they truly know there stuff when it comes to good quality skincare....all be it they are ever so slightly on the pricey side, they truly are impeccable.....skincare is something I love and Clinique works on my skin so I don't think I'll be getting rid of my Clinique fix any time soon.

This post is not sponsored or an AD I just wanted to share with you this fantastic deal so you can get your hands on it too, and can too share a lil touch of Clinique in your life.

Have you tried Clinique's Skincare & Beauty products?

Tired Eyes? I've got just the thing.....

....Meet my lil holy grail dark circle and tired eye fighting beauty gem.....Charlotte Tilbury's Mini Miracle Eye Wand.

Now I purchased this a fair few months ago used it once and I wasn't all too impressed with it at first in all honesty, I couldn't really see any results and kinda left it floating about somewhere in my makeup draw and didn't feel like I could do a review on it, until about a month and a bit ago when I refound it again I thought to myself, surely at £29 a pop I'm not using it right or I'm just using it in the wrong way for it not to be good? Well my internet chums this little wand is frickin' fantastic......I pulled it back out of my makeup jungle and have actually fallen in love with it. The first time I used it was many months back, I found it to do nothing or if it did I was quite clearly blind and really couldn't see the true effects of this unbelievably uh-ma-zing product. I've used this almost everyday since refinding it, apart from the days where I'm facially naked and looking terrifying to the general public, and it honestly gives my eyes this wide eyed and awake look. Charlotte's Mini Miracle Eye Wand has literally been a miracle to my dark circles, this is a dynamic duo lift & light reflector wand packed with lots of micro-particles that conceal, brighten and diffuse the appearance of my horrid dark circles, by horrid I mean on a good day I look like I've been punched in the eye haha *inserts sad pouty face*.

Eye Cream

I use this wand like a bit of a pen it has this most silky gorgeous eye cream one end that contains Hyaluronic Acid that boosts the moisture levels in the eye contour, whilst leaving the delicate eye area feeling plumped and rejuvenated, along with Rice Proteins that fight against any signs of fatigue and also helps reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes. I just literally pat this into the socket of my eye and it just leaves it feeling 10x more hydrated and it feels like my under eyes have been pulled right back and are more plumped, nourished and already looking like I've had the best nights sleep ever.

Light Reflecting Cream

The other end is this beautiful light reflecting cream that bounces back the light that is gathered from the sockets of the eyes and just drowns out the darkness, it just stops your eyes looking tired and my overall appearance much more awake and less exhausted. When patted on top of the eye cream it just magically vanishes any signs of tiredness, dark circles and just generally tired eyes. It looks like your eyes have been photoshopped it's that good. In two clicks and and a bit of patting.....bang it looks like you've had 8 hours sleep in two simple steps.

I seriously regret not using this product sooner and not giving it a fair try it's honestly fantastic it quite literally bounces back any darkness and leaves your eyes feeling hydrated, plumped and ready for whatever the day might throw at you. It's one of them products that I would feel happy leaving the house with only this on and nothing else...not even concealer it's that flipping good. Would I buy this again? Well I'd be lying to you If I said I haven't got one on the way in the post. I will be honest and say that a pretty heavy £29 pricetag isn't cheap however this one is completely worth it ladies.

Now go buy one and let's stop the whole world for feeling tired!

Have you tried Charlotte Tilbury's Mini Miracle Eye Wand?

October Favourites | 2016

October has sadly come to an end and I feel very very sad as I flipping love October it's just the most gorgeous time of the year and everything looks so tumblr & instagram goals. Today I wanted to share with you all the products that I've been loving throughout October as It seems you all rather enjoy reading my Favourites posts.

Nars Sheer Glow in Sibera - The only foundation that I can always turn to, to even out my skintone! I'm a very pale peach and this foundation matches my skintone beautifully, It's very light and the only way I can describe this foundation is that, it gives your skin this "my skin but better" look and I HONESTLY LOVE it, I've been re-purchasing and using this foundation for the past 2-3 months now and I just can't get enough of it, I featured this in last months favourites but I really can't let it skip this months as I've been really loving it! It's one of the best foundations I've ever bought. It literally has everything about a foundation I love, great colour to actually match my natural skin, sinks in fast, looks natural and gives that really healthy look to my skin. I just honestly purchase bottle after bottle of this foundation it's that good. It's probably my most used foundation this year.

Clinique Moisture Surge - With it being Autumn/Winter now I've been grabbing my Clinique Moisture Surge like a crazy lady, again I've featured this moisturiser in many a favourites post, but a proper depth review is here I feel like this is one of them products that I will never get tired of or switch as it's hydrated my skin completely. It's really light and sinks into my skin within a matter of seconds it's nourishing and honestly feels like my skins soaked up all the goodness for each dollop I apply to my face. If you want one moisturiser and have tired or dehydrated skin then it's this one, I'd very highly recommend it. It's even fine on oilier skin types as I do have a bit of combination skin. I've lost count of how many pots I've bought of this.

Nars Chantilly - Concealer is one of my favourite things, and the Nars Chantilly is one of the best concealers available, I've been loving this one so much so that I now need to re-order it, It's quite a thick concealer but it honestly does the job, it looks like you've had the most amazing nights sleep in one slick swipe and a bit of patting into my skin, it hides any blemishes like a dream and my lovely dark circles no longer make an appearance when I use this. Yes it's a pricey thing but completely worth it.

Tresemme Beauty-Full Volume Mousse - I've never been a huge fan of mousses in my hair as it's long which often means anything like a mouse gets stuck in my hair and is an absolute pain to get out, however about 2-3 weeks ago I picked up the Tresemme Beauty-Full Volume Mousse and I absolutely loved it, you apply this on wet/damp hair and run it through the hair with your fingers and then simply it claims to give a fair bit of volume to the hair I wouldn't say a huge amount'll do....what I've loved the most about this product is that It leaves my hair smelling incredible and so soft. It gives my long locks enough volume for me to be happy with it though.

Bobble Hats/ Beanies - Beanie season is well and truly on fire, so I've been reaching for a cosy, snug beanie/bobble hat to keep my pea head warm, let's face it it's not autumn without a beanie....really is it? both of these are from Primark *SCREAMS MUSTARD YELLOW *inserts love heart eyes emoji**.

Converse - Now this is a random one but if anyone asked "What shoes does Jess where?" the answer would most defiently by white converse.....I love a good converse and haven't been able to not chuck on a pair this October (half the year actually between me and you ;) ) so I just had to feature them.

Lush Sugar Plum Lip Scrub*- Now in the autumn & winter I get really bad dry chapped lips so I always turn to a good quality lip balm (burt's bees or Nuxe lip balms are my go to) that and a good lip scrub.....lip scrubs I feel are awesome yet not many brands are about apart from Lush who do an favourite one is either the Valentines one, Popcorn or my current one.....which is Sugar Plum Fairy now this honestly tastes like black current jam and it's SO frickin' good. It gently buffs away at the lips....lick and ta da no more dry chapped and scaly reptile lips....Lush you honestly are a god send!

And that is everything I've been loving throughout October.

What are your October Favourites?
