February Favourites

Hello Everyone seem as February is almost over I thought I'd do a massive favourites post as I've been loving lots of things this month. so lets go!! nearly all of them are beauty products but I do have some others too.

I've firstly been trying to find a nice but not greasy body lotion for my skin, as my skin has been on and off feeling dry & nobody likes that dry skin feeling so I came across this it's the Fearne Body Lotion by Fearne Cotton and I've been constantly reaching for it, It smells like oranges and passion fruit, you know I'm fussy about body creams, lotions and potions but this one is really light and doesn't give you that gloppy "I've just covered myself in a tone of body cream" feeling like most body lotions do.

The next thing I've been really loving is the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, I got this free with ELLE Magazine and haven't stopped using it, It leaves your lashes looking much more volumized and really opens your eyes, It's now my favourite new mascara, I did a review on it here and I went into a lot more detail so you can go and check that out if you'd like.

more make up wise, I have really been loving my Ted Baker Bronzing Powder as this is my most favourite make up item from my collection at the moment and I just can't stop using it as it's such a pigmetned bronzer and even though I'm quite pale this doesn't wash me out and this just adds the perfect amount of colour all over where the sun would naturally hit me.

Whilst also on the subject of Ted Baker I've been loving my make-up brushes by Ted as well, they're perfect for blending and are super soft ect I did a more detailed review on these here. Honestly I'm going to put it out there I think these are just as good as the real technique brushes!

My next favourite is by Estee Lauder & it's the Perfectly Clean Fresh Balancing Lotion, this watery lotion has really improved my skin and has left it feeling super fresh & looking so much more healthier, it's fresh softening and all in all a truly great product as you can see from the photo I've been using this lots and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants their skin to look a lot more brighter, it's pricey but completely worth it!

Since we had Christmas a couple of months ago my friend kindly brought me some Lush Snow Fairy shower gel as she knows how much I LOVE Lush and this my favourite shower gels to use ever so often Snow Fairy is also part of the new Easter Collection & is in the fluffy egg bath bomb

What is on your February Favourites?

Thursday, 26 February 2015

Yesterday I set off on a long journey to go to Lush Meadowhall, as I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek at all their amazing new Easter range and I thought I'd share it with you all as being a blogger and all hahaha. We were greeted by the lovely ladies in lush they let us get straight in and take photos, smell the products ect. They even had food & drink for us! I'm really really really Impressed with this years collection as it has a few of the favourites from last year and some newbies too, It really is a collection that you won't want to miss out on! They have blocks of soap with rabbits running through it, gift boxes pretty much anything you could imagine, This years collection is nothing but gorgeous:

Bunch Of Carrots - Bubble Bar
Immaculate Eggception - Bath Bomb
Fluffy Egg - Bath Bomb
Hoppity Poppity - Bath Bomb
Pot O' Gold - Shower Jelly
Carrot Soap - Soap
Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Soap
& the most popular one:

Honestly I have to admit this is probably one my favourite collections they've ever done!

Here are some of my favourites:

Bunch Of Carrots - Reusable Bubble Bar

I really loved this one as 1. it's reusable and 2. it's adorable I'd say you could probably get about 4-5 baths out of this maybe even 6. You swirl it around in your bath water (don't crumble) and it will turn you bath water into this lovely orange colour which smells really floral once you've used them, pop them on the side to dry (I'd gently pat them with a paper towel).

2. Hoppity Poppity - Bath Bomb

I also saw this demonstrated and trust me this is one you're not going to want to miss out on, It's in the shape of a rabbit as you can see and as lush are always full of surprises, this little bath bomb contains popping candy which you can hear as it continues to pop away in your bath, How cool?!? It smells really fresh and I think it has a hint of mint inside this one, It felt really soft on my skin and I'm really pleased it was in my goodie bag lush gave us.

And last but not least.....
3. Immaculate Eggception Yellow Bath Bomb

I saw the pink one of this demonstrated and I really loved it, it's three bath bombs in one and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint, If your not a lover of all things chocolate or would like something that smells of chocolate but doesn't contains the calories then this one is for you, it's a lush lovers dream...a Lush easter egg, you crack it open (like you would a normal easter egg) and pop what you've just broke in your bath and surprise you will either get a little chic or a rabbit! I wouldn't recommend putting them both together as it is a bit overpowering but on there own would be perfect, this one is really good, but a little on the over powering side if I do say so myself.

I was kindly given my three favourites to try out at home, Not only did lush give us a bag of goodies, I also brought some more lush stuff as you can never have to much lush, and I'm addicted to their products. Anyway enough of me rambling on here are some more photos of the products including giftboxes ect!

Lush | Ultraviolet

(Image taken from
This really surprised me, I was truly impressed with this big bubble bar and it was kindly gifted to me by Lush, I love pretty much all their products so I was very intrigued to try this one out. It's the Ultraviolet bubble bar and you snap pieces off and crumble it under running water, It turned my bathwater into this beautiful gorgeous purpley blue and I could probably get another 7-8 baths out of this massive block! it left my skin smelling amazing and really soft I just can't praise Lush enough they really understand what we want from their products and never fail to deliver! I love lush as you can probably guess from the amount of blog posts I do about their products.

Have you tried Ultraviolet?

Homeware Haul

Over the last probably year or so I've definitely got really into a homeware obsession, I love all little bits and pieces as it can just finish off making your home look more homely hahaha. So here are a few pieces I've brought even though I don't have my own house, I just like buying little things that finish my room off hahaha.
So I hope you enjoy:

"You Make Me Happy When Skies Are Grey"

I love this cushion so much and It really does mean a lot to me, and the quote just finishes it off nicely and I love it I think If you have a grey sofa you can add colourful cushions and I think this one would definitely do that, It's from Dunelm and I just think it would add a nice pop of colour, to your bedroom, sofa ect It'd just finish it off nicely. My mum used to say this to me when I was little and it just makes me smile *soppy*.

As you all know I've gone super pug crazy lately which now consists of bedding and even pyjamas hahaha anyway I came across this lovely cushion in Tesco. As you can see it has a massive pug print on it and I just couldn't leave it there on the shelf edge, so I brought it! hahaha

Whilst also looking in Tesco I came across this, now when I first saw it I loved it and now that I've added a random photo in it I love it even more, I think it's really pretty and would look perfect if you're thinking of doing a feature wall as having pop out frames will add more life to your living space and I mean come on, who wouldn't pick up something as pretty as this! At £6.00 I'm dead pleased with it, you know what it's like when you go to Tesco, wanting to buy one things and come out with about 50 things you didn't plan on buying hahaha :)

that is all I've got so far homeware wise, but I'm going to be posting my homeware wishlist! I love wishlists and it seems you guys reading my blog do too, so stick around as It will be up soon! hahahaha ;)

LUSH | Pop In The Bath

I can't believe I haven't seen this lovely bubble bar till the other day, It's so good, there are I think 3/4 different colours you can pick from in store and I picked the pink one with the blue flower, it smells so fresh and I personally think it smells a little bit like earl grey tea hahahaha. Like all bubble bars left my skin feeling really soft and relaxed ect I just love it, I broke mine in half and it was plenty, I reckon you could probably get about 2-3 baths out of this, I saw this demonstrated at Lush an just had to buy one, I will definitely be buying one of these again as I loved it that much, This would make a really nice gift for mothers day, so go and treat your mothers!

What's your favourite lush product?

Benefit Roller Lash

WOW, now this is one mascara every girl needs. I own quite a few Benefit make up items, but after seeing the other week that ELLE Magazine have a free mini sample of their (benefit's) Roller Lash Mascara I wasn't going to miss out so I brought one finally after trying to get it for 3 times now in three different shops. This is honestly amazing and did really volumize my eyelashes, I really really like this mascara and I found that it did exactly what it says on the tin It wasn't clumpy doesn't dry out, lasts all day, I also love the rose gold packaging on the sample size it's gorgeous. For a sample I'm truly impressed and will definitely be buying the full size, because it does exactly what it says I will be buying it. All in all I'm very impressed!
Would I repurchase this? Hell Yes
Out of ten how much did it volumize your lashes? 10
Out of ten how much did you enjoy this product? I'd say 10/10

Have you tried Benefits Roller Lash Mascara?

Thursday, 12 February 2015

Let's first of all start off by saying how cute is this little thing? It may be small but it's powerful, I brought this whilst on a visit to Lush, I recently blogged about their new collection for mothers day, and whilst blogging and taking pics in the store I brought the Rose Bubble Bar It's currently not online, so I think you can purchase this in store only, to me it smells very very much like yummy mummy and has cocoa butter in it. This also smells like turkish delight (very much like yummy mummy) I just wanted to eat it, It's fresh fruity and would make a lovely bath time treat for your mums this mothers day! so go out and buy one, It turns your bath water into this beautiful colour which I'm not going to spoil for you, you'll just have to go & buy one hahaha ;) it also creates lots of bubbles. You do get your moneys worth out of this one, however the only thing I that it was a little bit bigger.

Price - £2.95

Lush | Yummy Mummy!

(Image from Instagram)

If you're following my little blog then you will now that I recently saw their mothers day collection, which is smelling and looking beautiful as ever, so I was kindly given some Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and Yummy Mummy conditioner to try from Lush I love both of these products very very much and they feel completely different on my skin compared to other body lotions and washes I use, I'm really impressed with them, my skin felt softer and I did get a better nights sleep after using these products as I felt completely relaxed, I personally think that they smell like Turkish Delight/ Strawberry Jelly hahaha I love them! The body lotion I found it a little greasy and you know I'm fussy about body lotions, so I used a small amount as a little amount of the body lotion goes a long way, I find that with all of lush's products they last really long and do wonders to my skin, I would definitely recommend buying these before they're gone as the body lotion would probably last half the year and the shower gel is just as UH-MA-ZING!

ASOS Wishlish

(all photos featured are from

I've not shopped at ASOS in a really long time, however whenever I do look on their website I instantly fall in love with most of their clothes shoes...well pretty much everything! So I thought I would do another wishlist as I'm loving all their collard jumpers/tops coats, accessories and yes Handbags (SATCHELS AAAHHH). Who doesn't love a good old Asos wishlist?!? Here is my selection of bits and pieces that I loving at the moment, enjoy and let me know in the comments what's on your asos wishlist! :)

1. Asos Playsuit With Sheer Dobby Spot Panel - I just think this is simply beautiful! I really love playsuits as they are very comfortable and are a great outfit choice if you are going to a party ect, That's why I think this one is perfect for going out on a date, parties ect you can Jazz it up with a statement necklace and some nice heels!

2. Asos Petite Cocoon Coat In Textured Wool - I love my pastel shades so this ticks every box for me! I don't really own any bright shaded coasts as I'm always sticking to my parkas but I want to go out of my comfort zone and buy a bright coloured coat! It's gorgeous and I need it in my wardrobe, like asap!

3. Asos Petite Cropped Blazer With Slim Lapel - I feel like girl should have a blazer in her wardrobe and this one is NO exception, I actually haven't been able to find one I really like until now! I just think a blazer can go with pretty much anything and everything, you can glam it up with a pair of disco pants and a nice shirt/blouse ect I would definitely recommend you buying one as it can sometimes just bring an outfit together! They're also very figure flattering.

4. Asos Petite Exclusive Babydoll Dress With Long Sleeves - A while ago I bought a cute lace insert dress from Topshop and I really love the colour, so whilst hovering around at Asos I found this I think it's gorgeous very simplistic but looks really comfy! you could team this up with the Blazer as well.

5. New Look Petite Check Scallop Hem Crop Top - Scallop edging is one of my favourite styles for crop tops and shorts ect. I think this would be perfect in the summer and would look great with some shorts or Disco Pants ect

6. Asos Petite Sweatshirt With French Slogan - I think this would look great in the summer, sticking with the pastel shades I really want to update my wardrobe as it's not really colourful so I think this would go nicely with a pair of dogtooth leggings and some loafers. Ideal outfit for out and about!

What's on your Asos Wishlist?
