When I saw that lush had a 50% off sale I was so happy, so I went in and brought some lush goodies, and I thought I would do a mini haul for you all!

So let's kick start off by saying that on the christmas products there was 50% off, I was waiting and waiting for the lush sale as I simply love lush as you all know. When I attended a blogger meet up I so wanted to buy the Baked Alaska Soap as it smells so amazing, personally I think it smells like cloudy lemonade my piece was priced at £5.53.

I then brought another personal favourite of mine which is the Golden Wonder Bath Bomb
this smells so good and fresh, personally I feel like it's quite a strong smell at first until you put it into the bath and it smells like lavender. I love it! it was priced at £3.75.

and to finish my nice little haul off I brought So White, this smells completely like apples and I saw this being demonstrated at the blogger meet up! there is a surprise inside which I'm not going to spoil for you guys if you have got it, you'll just have to wait and see! hahaha
It was priced at £3.50.
altogether it should have been £12.78 but instead it was £6.38 because of the 50% off offer, So I have come away from lush a pretty happy bunny with my new products! roll on the next lush sale! hahaha

Did/Have you got anything in the lush sale?

A few months ago I posted a blog post called "5 days, 5 Fragrances" and one of my favourite fragrances as mentioned was Alien by Thierry Mugler! I frickin love this and when I saw that there was a lovely gift set in Boots for christmas which was the alien one (they had two the other was angel), I adore this and it smells amazzzing I love it! it's sweet and woody (oaky scent) and is to die for! I got it in the sale and it cost £37.12 which is pretty good, as the perfume on its own costs £47.50 (boots). However with the gift set you really get the extras that come with it for free, the extras are:

Radiant Body Lotion 100ml

Shower Gel 30ml

Body Cream 15ml

They all have the same scent as the perfume & honestly they smell divine, It's not a strong overpowering scent it's nice but not too strong just right! that's why I love it.
I've had so many compliments when I've been out, whenever I'm in town I will nip into boots and have a quick squirt and the scent lasts all day it's that good!
so all in all for the price it's definitely worth it. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Made In Chelsea

I've been after some good Chelsea boots for a long time now, and after eyeing these up for a while, my mum surprised me today and brought them for me for christmas, I know it's early but my mum let me off hahaha :) I LOVE them so much, honestly these are so comfy I was a little worried at the size of the heel because I'm always seen in flats, but these boots give me the perfect lift for someone who is 5ft 1.

These beauties are from H&M and were only £24.99, which I thinks its a fantastic price for a really lovely, comfy and sturdy pair of boots. I'm so impressed with them! Honestly if I didn't know that these were from H&M I would probably of guessed Topshop or OFFICE they are that good, they're FANTASTICALLY good quality for the price. Because of these boots have a nice chunky platform the very comfortable to wear you could probably get away with wearing them all day, I would pair these with a really cute playsuit in the summer and these will go great with a super cosy parka in the winter!
They are available here:

The Comforter

I bought this as you know almost two weeks ago, so for me to be saving a lush product is extremely you all know I'm mad about all their amazing products, which I think you are all aware of now! hahaha. I have been wanting to try this product for ages and I was chuffed to pieces to get one the other day (you can read about that here), It smells like ribena which It has had to grow on me, my mum said it smelt like refreshers which I can see where she is coming from, it's very sweet but not too sweet + fruity. It turned my bath water a gorgeous pinky colour and I think it's probably one of most pretty bubble bars I have ever seen!
I think it's worth the £4.75 as you can break it into chunks as it's a bubble bar.....I reckon you could probably get about 7-8 baths out of this and the colour would still be pretty strong. You really do get your moolahs worth with Lush and that's why I love them! not just because they make amazing bath bombs ect that make you feel like you are in heaven, but they also don't have any chemicals like most bath products.

You can buy the Lush Comforter bar HERE!!! ;)

I hope you liked this, and that I'm not boring you to death all about lush products, you just gotta love lush! hahaha

Charity Pot

I was out shopping on Sunday with my lovely friend Molly, & we both decided to have a little wander to into lush, I don't think Molly realised how much I loved lush until I started runwalking to get there hahaha. So after looking around, we picked our items, in my basket was obviously a few bath bombs, The comforter which the scent still has to grow on me (will do a review on this in another post), after spending some moolah I went to the till to pay and the very kind & polite Hannah, said to me do you want to buy one of our charity pots? so I said oh go on then, It cost me £1.00 and I wasn't sure if I was going to love it or not but, I really do I wasn't too keen on the smell at first but after you've used it you can hardly notice it, I find it really hard not to like a lush product, I think it smells of mint choc chip. It's not greasy at all and you know how fussy I am about greasy products, it made my skin feel super soft and hydrated it, all in all I'm pretty impressed with this product and the bonus is that, that £1.00 I paid ALL went to charity! that's what I love about lush they are all about the giving.

Thank you lush for your truly amazing products!

Review: Lush Christmas - Luxury Lush Pud + extras

(photo taken from

I recently decided to get myself into the festive spirit even more and I thought I would use my Lush Luxury Pud bath bomb finally & it was amazing surprise surprise! It smelt like lavender to me and changed my bath water into so many beautiful pretty colours there was pinks blues purples ect and once it had all fizzed out it turned my bath water into this beautiful pink colour! Not only did I use that but I also used the Sugar Scrub body scrub*, pink fun (from my giftset) and snow fairy! I was seriously impressed with their Sugar Scrub Body Scrub it left my skin feeling super soft and wasn't harsh on my very dry skin I will be me definitely getting this the next time I'm in Lush, It lasted another 3 washes after using it once so it does go along way, I used the Pink Fun, which I personally wouldn't re-purchase as I think it's aimed at young kids, but it did make bubbles as I crumbled it under running water, I have already reviewed snow fairy so you can have a read of that here! ;) all in all I was very impressed with these products apart from the Pink Fun and will be getting the others again very soon.

What lush products are your favourite?

Bee Good

As you all know I recently attended my first ever blogger event and it was brilliant (have a read here) and we got given a goodie bag as well as a lush goodie bag from Aimee. I'm still yet to do a blog post on the goodie bag and the products, but I thought I would kick start my goodie bag reviews with the Bee Good Lip Balm.

Okay, so I firstly would like to say that I haven't paid for this it was given to me in my goodie bag as already stated above, When I first put it on it felt like I was putting on a body scrub on my lips but after like 5 seconds the body scrub feeling went as the little tiny pieces dissolved (which I thought was pretty cool and I liked it at first), I found it not too greasy which for me was perfect but after about 5 mins I felt that it had gone and there was no lip balm on my lips anymore, it was like I had applied nothing on them, it says on the back of the product "This deeply nourishing balm softens (which it didn't) protects and moisturises dry or chapped lips." my lips were feeling a little dry and I remembered I had this in my handbag and thought I would try it. It didn't soften them up, it made them feel cakey which I hate! the other two things I also didn't enjoy about this product were 1) The texture of the product and 2) that it was gone within a second. You can see in the photo from the little booklet the picture that has been printed shows you the exact size you receive, the texture is cakey, and a little bit thick. I personally wouldn't buy this at £4.75 I think it is a little bit steep for a lip balm that's 10ml, I much prefer Burts Bees as it does exactly what it says on the label.

Have you tried their products out?

Instax Mini 8

I thought I would do a lifestyle post today, as I haven't (I think) and I know a lot of people who are after getting one of these bad boys for x-mas. I got one for my birthday in march, and have non-stop used it I'm surprised it's still working the amount of times I have taken pics.

I grew up with my mum always using her instant camera, and always asked her "can I use it mum?" I have always loved taking photographs from a very young age it seems, so when I saw the Instax Mini 8 Cameras I got super excited (I was like a kid in a sweet shop) I went to tesco and bought the white one. I did want the blue one but that one is the most popular and was sadly sold out, but I secretly prefer the white (classic colour).
It cost me £70 but include 40 shots (which as you can imagine, as a keen photographer these went down pretty quickly).

If you haven't got a clue want an Instax Mini is, it's basically a polaroid-style camera that produces as you've guessed it instant pictures that develop right in front of your very eyes, it only takes a few minutes for them to develop and they are totally worth it! ?There are 10 shots in each film, after you have used the film you have to buy refills for them, they can be a little bit costly at £10 per film but you get different prints on each film like the background, I love using the pandora film I think its so pretty and the dalmatian one! you can however usually get on pack with 20 'shots' in and it's around £13-£14 - not cheap I know but they are completely worth it. you can pop them in mini photo frames, use them as bookmarks pretty much anything but do keep them out of direct sunlight this includes when the photo is developing.

The camera is so easy to use; you just pop in the batteries (if you buy the bundle from tesco they come with them) and then place the film cartridge inside, that's it, after you have closed the back don't clip it back open as once you have you might waist any film that is left in there, there is a mini countdown thing that shows you how many shots you have got left. I don't really touch the settings on it, unless I'm outside and using it! I just click out the lens to turn it on, point and shoot and there you go, it's done. The quality is very good for everyday snaps - the Instax mini is there to take snapshots of the memories that you create rather than create something perfect, you can end up with some cool results but that's what makes it fun you never quite know what you're going to get or end up with. The camera has a built in flash and the pictures come out quite sharp and clear.

I need to get some more film as it has been a good few months since I last used it. I personally think it's perfect for anything and everything like when you have a house party, christmas, birthdays, weddings ect. The list is endless! I love shoving it in my bag in the summer and take it pretty much everywhere with me! I love it that much. I have a whole box full of the photos and I just love looking at the ones that my mum took when I was a kid and the ones I have taken it just makes me so happy and each one is something that holds a memory that I will cherish forever. The Instax mini is quite small and the films are quite small, but if you want the photos a little bit bigger I would strongly recommend you buy this Instax, you use the wide film, so you can take bigger photos! they are pretty cool if you want a bigger result and fantastic for parties my friend has one of them.

I love this so much, and have used it non-stop like I said earlier, since march it's well worth the money. It's light enough to take around with you on a daily basis if you wanted to! They are not too pricey that they put you off not wanting to buy one, once upon a time physical photos where to be unheard of, and that's what I love about the Instax mini it brings that memory to life and you can look at it again and again.

I highly recommend buying an Instax camera for christmas, or even hint that you would absolutely love one!
Trust me you definitely won't regret buy it!

What do you think of the Instax Mini Cameras?

Biggest Lush Haul Ever

As you are all probably aware I recently went to a blogger event (have a read here) and we all went to lush for a 'tour' I absolutely loved and I did come home with a goodie bag kindly given to us from them as well as buying a few things myself!

Creamy Candy Bath Melt - I absolutely love this, I once was given this as a birthday present, It came with lush popcorn (note- not edible even though I did offer it to my grandparents) and ever since using it I have wanted to try and find the exact one so when I was given this in my lush goodie bag I was super happy. It smells very sweet, it smells exactly like a wham bar. It's like you've got an entire sweetie shop in your bathroom it smells that good, it turns your bath water a beautiful, gorgeous baby pink colour

Price £2.75

Sunblock bar - I can't wait to try this, I think I'm going to save this until next year as it's winter and there isn't an ounce of sun in sight, It's a little oily and personally I think it smells like a mix between tea tree oil and lavender, I like this bar because you can break chunks off at a time and easily pop it into a metal tin and carry it around with you in your hand bag when the sun makes a reappearance £8.95.

Sugar Scrub Body Scrub - I adore this its very big and I really can't wait to use this, I'm a massive fan of body scrubs this one smells of lavender which I love and I've got a feeling that I'm going to get quite a few uses out of this £2.95

British Nanny -  I love this product and as a mini sample pot I was really looking forward to using it, It's slightly oily but is fantastic if you have dry skin (which I do) It's perfect as it is very easy to massaged into your skin, you only need a little bit and I use this sparingly as a little goes a long way. I'm useless at describing smells & scents but this stuff honestly works! I personally think it's a little on the pricey side but if something works get it, and stick to it....well that's at what I tell myself.

From Dusk 'Til Dawn - This is personally one of my favourites! I'm a HUGE fan of lush's massage bar rage and this little one is one of them, it isn't greasy and makes your skin feel super super soft! It smells of a mix between Honey,Orange & lemon. If you've never tried a lush massage bar before then you are seriously missing out bigstyle.

Luxury Lush Pud - This smells of lavender, it's a little on the strong side for my liking but it's amazing I can't wait to use this as the lady in Lush said to me it has lots of different colours in and will turn your water pink/purple. I'm super looking forward to this as I have been eyeing this one up for a while now.

and last but not least

I treated myself to a Snow Fairy Box I used to love snow fairy but now I have to use it ever so often as it's quite a sickly sweet bubble gum scent, however if you like sickly bubble scents then this would be the perfect gift for you. It comes with pink fun which you can make models/shapes out off, you can even use the Fun as bubble bath!

what are your favourite lush products?
